我が家には、重度知的障害と医療的ケアが必要な双子の娘たちがいます。
おむつの使用量も多く（双子なので >_<）、経済的な負担を感じることも少なくありませんでしたが、自治体のおむつ支援制度を利用することで、本当に助けられています。

多くの区では、身体障害者手帳1〜2級、愛の手帳1〜2度、または脳性麻痺や難病等で常時失禁・寝たきり状態にあるお子さんが対象とされています。
2. 支給方法は「現物支給」または「購入費助成」
紙おむつやパッドなどをカタログ選択や点数制で支給する区が多く、**入院時等には現金助成（月6,000〜7,500円）**を選べるところもあります。
3. 利用者負担は少額（または免除）
多くの自治体で月500円〜1割程度の自己負担で利用可能です。非課税世帯や生活保護受給世帯では無料になる場合もあります。

1. Clearly Defined Eligibility
In many wards, eligibility includes those with Level 1–2 Physical Disability Certificates, Level 1–2 “Ai-no-techo” (intellectual disability ID), cerebral palsy, or severe illnesses that require constant diaper use or result in bedridden conditions.
2. Provision Method: Physical Supplies or Cash Assistance
Most wards provide supplies like diapers or pads via catalog selection or point systems.
Cash assistance (¥6,000–7,500/month) may be available in cases such as hospitalization.
3. Low or Waived User Costs
Many municipalities charge a small fee (around ¥500/month or 10% co-pay).
